Photography is not only a powerful medium, but it's also a very difficult craft. That's why it's so hard to build up a high quality portfolio as a photographer. Nevertheless, I see many wonderful portfolio sites on the internet these days. That's why I wanted to share some of my favorites.

I discovered Lucie's work through Flickr, but she also has her own portfolio website at luciedebelkova.com. Each and everyone of her photos shows her outstanding talent. Visiting her website is a must for everyone who likes to travel. As shown by the picture below, Lucie is a master of composition and colors, pushing the shutter at the decisive moment.

Rarindra's pictures are bringing the spectator to another world. His pictures are fragile, subtle masterpieces showing the beauty in everyday's life. Rarindra lives in Jakarta, Indonesia and he definitely loves his country as shown by his magical portfolio. He doesn't have a personal website, but you can browse his portfolio at photo.net.

I discovered Marsel's photography through belgiumdigital.com, a popular Belgian photo-enthusiast website. When i first saw the picture below i though: "This should be published in National Geographic Magazine". Just a few minutes later, i found out that the picture actually WAS published in the january 2009 edition of the magazine!
